When is Cultivate Festival?

Cultivate Festival takes place September 25–27, 2026 at Haute Goat Farm.

Friday: Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Festival programming until 9:00 p.m. — plus our after party!

Saturday: Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Festival programming until 9:00 p.m.

Sunday: Doors open at 10:00 a.m. Festival programming until 5:00 p.m.

Where is Cultivate Festival?

Cultivate takes place outdoors on a working farm, so come ready for grass, hills, fresh air and September weather.

Where do I park?

Our on-site parking lot is large, but space is limited, so please carpool whenever possible.

Overflow parking will be available along 5th Line. Follow festival signage and the directions of our parking volunteers when you arrive.

Accessible parking is always available. On-site parking is guaranteed for campers.

Is there accessible parking?

Yes. Accessible parking is available on site and reserved for guests who need it. Follow the signs when you arrive or ask one of our parking volunteers for assistance.

What should I bring?

A few things will make your festival day even better:

Refillable water bottle — free drinking water is available on site
Picnic blanket
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Rain jacket, hoodie or whatever the weather calls for
ID if you plan to visit the bar
Debit or credit card — Cultivate is cashless
A folding chair if you’d like one. Chairs are permitted in designated areas, including near the top of the main-stage hill.

And if you have a Cultivate cup from a previous year, bring it! Reusable Cultivate cups will also be available for $5.

What should I leave at home?

Pets. Because Cultivate takes place on a working farm, pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome.

Tents and camping equipment are only permitted for registered campers.

No outside alcohol.

What happens if it rains?

We dance in the rain.

Cultivate is an outdoor, rain-or-shine festival. Keep an eye on the forecast and come prepared for September weather.

Tickets are non-refundable.

What time should I arrive?

Whenever you're ready to slow down and tune in. We suggest when the doors open!

Give yourself some extra time for parking, walking to the festival grounds and checking in — especially during peak arrival times.

Tickets and Access

How do tickets work?

Everyone attending Cultivate needs a ticket, including children and anyone choosing the $0 Pay What You Choose option.

Have the QR code for your ticket ready on your phone when you arrive. You can also print it in advance.

We'll scan your ticket at the front gate and get you checked in.

Is Cultivate really Pay What You Choose?

Yep.

Saturday and Sunday are Pay What You Choose, including a $0 option. Kids 18 and under are free.

Our suggested adult weekend price is $110 + HST, but the amount you choose is entirely up to you. Whatever you pay, you get the same festival.

Everyone still needs to reserve a ticket so we can safely plan for attendance.

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

As long as we haven’t reached capacity, yes!

Tickets will be available at the gate, subject to capacity. Booking ahead will make check-in faster and helps us plan for attendance.

Keep an eye on our website and social media for capacity updates as we get closer to the festival.

Is Cultivate accessible?

Accessibility is part of how we plan Cultivate, not an add-on.

Accessible parking is always available, and we're working to make the festival easier to navigate and enjoy through access notes, ramps, a quiet zone, relaxed programming and other supports.

Can I leave and come back?

Yep, of course. Just don’t lose your wristband!

Your festival wristband allows you to leave and re-enter during festival hours.

Where can I find the schedule?

Our complete Friday, Saturday and Sunday schedule is available on the Schedule page, including live music, Cultivate Kids, Art Hive workshops and other programming.

At The Festival

Is Cultivate family friendly?

Very.

Cultivate is an all-ages festival, and kids 18 and under attend free.

Cultivate Kids has activities and programming throughout the weekend, while the Art Hive offers hands-on creative workshops and drop-in making. You'll also find plenty of music and programming designed for the whole family.

Children should remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian.

What is Cultivate Kids?

Cultivate Kids is our dedicated space for younger festival-goers to play, make, move and explore.

Expect crafts, games, nature activities, parades and plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the weekend.

What is the Art Hive?

The Art Hive is Cultivate's home for getting creative.

Drop in to make something at the Open Art Hive or join one of our scheduled workshops throughout the weekend. It's a welcoming, hands-on space to experiment, create and connect.

Some workshops are designed for ages 12+. Children under 12 participating in those workshops must be accompanied by an adult.

What kind of music will I hear?

A little bit of everything.

Across the weekend you'll hear folk, roots, rock, funk, soul, hip hop, global music and plenty that doesn't fit neatly into a genre at all.

Cultivate is about discovering something new as much as seeing someone you already love.

Is there food at the festival?

Absolutely.

You'll find everything from wood-fired pizza and fresh-cut fries to Syrian food, Caribbean fusion, Indian and Mexican cuisine, desserts, popsicles, chocolate, coffee and more.

Vegetarian and other dietary options will be available from various vendors.

Can I bring outside food and drinks?

Yes. We know people have different dietary, family and accessibility needs, and you're welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks with you.

That said, food and drink are a big part of the Cultivate experience. We have a great group of vendors joining us, and supporting them helps support the festival too.

Please pack out anything you bring in and help us keep the farm beautiful.

Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited on the festival grounds and in the campground.

Is there drinking water?

Yes! Free drinking water is available on site.

Bring a refillable bottle and fill up throughout the day.

Is alcohol available?

Yes. Licensed bars will be operating on site.

You must be of legal drinking age and have valid ID to purchase alcohol.

Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the festival grounds or campground.

Is Cultivate cashless?

Yes. Cultivate is a cashless festival, so bring a debit or credit card.

What about smoking or vaping?

There is a designated smoking and vaping area outside the festival grounds.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the festival grounds. Anyone found smoking or vaping inside may be asked to leave.

Is there first aid?

Yes. First aid is available on the festival grounds throughout the weekend.

If you need help, ask a Cultivate volunteer and we'll get you where you need to go. In an emergency, call 911.

Can I bring my pet?

No. Because Cultivate takes place on a working farm, pets aren't permitted.

Service animals are welcome.

Staying At The Festival

Tell me about camping.

You can stay right at Haute Goat for the weekend!

Camping is available Friday and Saturday nights, with walk-in tent camping and a limited number of spaces for small trailers.

Campers get a little extra Cultivate too: exclusive campfire programming Friday and Saturday nights, a shared community campfire, morning yoga and the joy of waking up on the farm.
