Explore art, music, and nature through interactive workshops, engaging performances, and fun, open-ended play spaces, fostering their curiosity and imagination in an inclusive and joyful environment.
Art Hive & Farm Fun
Dig into creativity and country life! The Art Hive offers all-ages, skill-building art activities led by local facilitators - contributing to our first-ever Cultivate Community Zine! Nearby, Farm Fun brings tractor rides, Shmurgles (yes, really), and hands-on farm adventures for all ages. It’s participatory, playful, and perfectly Cultivate.
Local Food and Drink
Embark on a farm-to-festival journey! Born a local food festival, Cultivate will forever feature the finest in local food and drink, celebrating our region’s agricultural abundance, food and drink professionals and taste-of-place! PS - our lineups are short too!

Every great artist starts somewhere.
Growing Stages is a new partnership between SONG and Cultivate, created to help young Northumberland musicians take the leap from community stages to a professional festival stage.
This year, one artist or group (ages 13–18) will be selected as the Growing Stages Featured Artist, earning a 30-minute performance at Cultivate Festival, professional photo and video content, promotional support, and guidance as they prepare for the experience.
If you're a Northumberland artist with live performance experience and a 30-minute family-friendly set, we'd love to hear from you. Original music is encouraged, but not required.
Your next stage could be Cultivate.

This Raffle Strengthens Community
Funds raised through this raffle directly support removing all financial barriers to Cultivate Community’s year-round programs, Cultivate Festival, Road to Cultivate, and Hibernate Festival, making them free or pay-what-you-can so anyone can enjoy them.

Join us on Thursday, August 27 for Walk the Road to Cultivate, a fun-filled community fundraiser supporting Road to Cultivate and the nine free concerts that bring music, connection, and community to Port Hope each summer.
