September 22

Balfolk Dancing
7:10 - 7:55 p.m.

Join members of Moskitto Bar & other Folk Camp musicians in learning fun and easy Balfolk dances. No experience required!

Balfolk is a revival of social folk dancing from France & western Europe, that is a mix of circle/group and partner dances to live music.

Saturday

September 23

Yoga with Kim Jaye
11:30 - 12:15 p.m.

Get things stretched out and set yourself up for a incredible day at Cultivate Festival with Haute Goat's own Kim Jaye.

Perfect Pancakes
1:00 - 1:25 p.m.

Join local chef, Matt Ness, as he shows off his pancakes that are sure to change your life (or at least how you make your pancakes!).

Cocktails with Diogo Ramos
1:35 - 2 p.m.

The Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail and Diogo knows his stuff. Experience the beauty of this tasty cocktail and Diogo’s sense of humour.

Square Dancing
3 - 3:25 p.m.

Hannah Shira Naiman comes from a long line of folk musicians and dancers, and has been dancing her entire life. Her specialty is American Oldtime Square dances from Appalachia, and dances for all ages, for the whole family are her specialty. Join Hannah and her old timey band to get your body moving while having a whole lotta fun.

Kids Choir
3:35 - 4 p.m.

Come on Cultivate Kids! Join super friend of the festival, Shannon Linton (she's also performing in Plainville United), as she takes you on fun ride proving anyone can sing in choir. 

fiddleheads
5 - 5:25 p.m.

Join three brilliant fiddlers (Melissa Payne, Mary Frances Leahy and Saskia Tompkins) as they tour through some of their own songs and styles and jam out together.

Inuit Throat Singing
5:35 - 6 p.m.

Prepare to be charmed! Demonstrating traditional and contemporary Inuit throat singing and drumming, Siqiniup Qilauta will whisk you away and leave you wanting more.

Yoga with Jenn Wyatt
11:30 - 12:15 p.m.

Get things stretched out and set yourself up for a incredible day at Cultivate Festival with our very own Board Chair, Jenn Wyatt.

Washboard Mayhem!
1:10 - 1:50 p.m.

Join The Vaudevillian as they teach the history & culture of the Musical Washboard and the various ways how to scrub the old fashion washing machine in turn creating incredible music. Expect a lot of laughter!

Short Order Poetry Reading
3:10 - 3:50 p.m.

Collected over the weekend in The Hive, the poems created will be read aloud in an intimate setting the poets or those who inspired the work.
